Argentine Truco

Argentine Sarmiento x Argentine Sombra
10/31/04 - Full Argentine

Truco means trick in spanish. I was hoping for our first full argentine to be a girl, and there came Truco on Halloween day; we thought it was appropriate! But after meeting this little fuzzy teddy bear, I immediately forgot that I was hoping for a girl!

Truco has the fine dense wool that the Argentines are known for as well as the wonderfully gentle disposition. He is the traditional Argentine red with dark gray face. And how about that 'lion' face! That is what the Argentine llama is all about.

Truco’s first cria is the very feminine mini TWF Pauline

Okay, we said we weren't getting any more llamas. Well, I didn't, but Chris did. Here is full argentine appy Mini Me now known as Pippin. Chris has wanted an appy and here he is and the icing on the cake is that he is small. We will be eagerly watching to see how he develops.

Pippin placed 3rd in Yearling Argentine Males and 5th in the Top Five Argentine Males at The Virginia Classic.

Pippin was bred to mini Tick Tock
Spring 2009.

SNDR Black Ice

Argentine Gaucho x MGF Jubilee
5/11/04 - Half Argentine

We saw Black Ice with his mother, Jubilee, on 2003's Llama Sales List online auction. I fell in love with his chocolate color, argentine type fleece and nice straight confirmation. The bidding was up to the last second, but we won! Our Lady Hawke is Ice's full sister.

Ice is a friendly, easy-to-work with llama with beautiful abundant, silky, dense fleece. He has matured into a stunning example of the Argentine type, winning 4th place at The Big E in a large class.

CCF Picante

Argentine Nolo x CCR Kayjun Spice
9/1/05 - Half Argentine

Picante, aka Peanut is the apple of our eyes! We got him as a 5 month old munchkin who we were going to geld and use in PR. Well, just look at him now, all golden and straight. Not only does he have the build and fleece of his Argentine sire, he has the mellow personality of the Argentines.

Peanut placed 4th in Yearling Argentine Males at the Virginia Classic.

FOR SALE: $1000
Height measured 5/26/08 - 39"
Peanut would be a great herdsire for the small/mini llama farm.
